Free Speech: An Immigrant/Refugee Public Art Installation

Calling all immigrants & refugees living in the Philadelphia area, next Saturday July 29th from 11am-3pm, bring your artwork, writing, and ideas to help design postcards and other crafts to tell your story! These pieces will become part of a Southeast By Southeast project called Free Speech, a public art installation that will be installed in Marconi Plaza (Broad St. and Oregon Ave.) for Fall 2017. Modeled after a newsstand, but instead of candy and magazines, the installation will feature artwork and stories from refugee and immigrant communities. We can't do it without you!
