4. เพลง สาวเข็นฝ้าย จิ๋ว Sao Khaen Fai by Wongsa Amonrat
Her name says Wongsa but people in Laos knew her as "Jew" Amonrat, and I think she might be their Beyonce (I hope Beyhive don't come for me), her videos reach in the millions and they're all done well. The title means "Cotton Thread Girl", and Amonrat composed this song with help from a music teacher in Laos, as she is from Isaan, a province in Thailand that formerly belonged to Laos, with many of the people who live there speaking Lao. We'll get to this a little later. I gotta watch for Beyhive.
